Serena is a native of Western New York who graduated from Medaille College and SUNY Buffalo State. Serena has a passion to assist employers with all employee support services while maintaining an overall understanding of business operations and how HR needs to be able to work with operations for the overall success of the organization. Serena has experience in high level recruiting, payroll, organizational development, labor and employee relations, legal compliance, worker’s compensation, return to work and safety programs, leadership training and development, healthcare reform, wellness programs, and legal terminations. She worked as a Corporate Human Resource Manager for 15 years overseeing a 3000+ employee company, as well as Human Resources Director for a multi-branch local healthcare business. Serena’s purpose is to offer HR services to her clients which allows them to focus on bottom line results, profits and operational functions. Serena is a licensed employee benefits broker. She is both PHR and SHRM Certified.
